Angina is the commonest presentation for Heart Disease. In this video, I will define Angina, what Symptoms you should look for and what are the Treatment options should you experience any of its symptoms.

Years ago I had a angiography and was told large arteries clear. But straight after had the exact pain. Doctors thought I was having heart attack. I didn't. It wasn't. They then said it was angina in small arteries at top of chest. OK. Gave me the spray. Eased off after some years.

Now since having first covid vaccine 2020. I've not been right. Breathlessness, chest pains, B/ P high. To the point that in May during the night I was woken with chest pain slight left, sweating, jaw pain, pins and needle to elbow, pain between shoulder blades.
I've 65, woman overweight 15 St 3lb. Didn't phone for ambulance because my cat was also dying and needed to be here. This pain continued even after using spray for about 40 minutes in total. Lips went purple. This happened about 3am. Did go to hospital at 1pm. In short. Ecg negative heart attack. But 3 blood tests, 2hrs between each had highly raised results 🤷. Said I need to be on asprin, clopidogrol. Plus my normal B/ p medication. Had a previous mini stroke 2017 on a plane. Uk doctors wouldn't recognise it although I had all paper work to confirm it.
I'm still waiting to see cardiologist. Since then I believe I'm having 2 issues going on. Angina which I cope with the spray, sometimes not even using it but sit it out. But the other very different.
I now get Breathlessness very easy, even on moderate walking very short distance. To go upstairs and down. Fatigued. I have a constant dull ache in the left of my chest when sitting but on exertion. Oh my I'd walked to the bus stop and it felt like I'd been hit with a sledge hammer between my shoulder blades. Sweating, giddy, pain unbearable had to lean up bus shelter. Managed to get on bus. Lasted easily 40 minutes if not bit more. That was 12 noon. Only started to feel normal around 5pm. Not had it that bad since but have had another two. On second one managed to take blood pressure reading at the time 201/102 plus 72
Gp just added diltzitem . As also my regular b/ p are 198/ 98.
Now it's lowered only top figure. Any advice please. Getting nowhere here with Gp as he won't send the info to the hospital as they've requested.

Doctor, I’m 27 male in relatively good shape. Been having chest pain since my first panic attack (which I thought was a heart attack). Went to the ER and EKG, blood test and x-Ray all came out Normal. They deduced it as anxiety/panic disorder.

Saw a cardiologist regardless and did the whole round of tests (EKG, stress test, 7 day holter, and echocardiogram). - everything came out perfectly normal!

However, I’m still experiencing chest pain daily. It’s to the point where I’ve taken myself to ER around 10 times which every test coming back normal.

My cardiologist doesn’t want to do anymore tests for my chest pain since all the other ones mentioned before came out perfectly normal. I’ve told him the pain even goes to my left arm, but he’s become dismissive of my symptoms since the echo, holter, stress test and all the tests I’ve taken at the emergency room come back normal.

What can it be? My chest pain is daily.

Thanks Dr. Bolard. This is a very informative video. Four years ago i suffered with a heart attack and after the heart attack within a month i recovered from all heart attack symptom, may be due to as i was a regular badminton player. After a month i was playing again and eating the same food but after a year i suffered with angina pain while playing badminton. After that i have become careful and using medicine and have become choosy in eating. These measures are quite beneficial. My question is can i become to my normal life as i was before heart attack ?

36 years old. When i go for a light jog, i get a pain on lower left chest/top of abdomen. If i stop running it goes away instantly, like witnin 5 seconds. Im freaking out...

Whenever I eat a greasy meal or fastfood, I feel heaviness in my chest. My last ecg and echo report was normal but as I was stressed before the test, it showed tachycardia hr of 116bpm. My blood cholesterol is normal. Usually when I wake up in mornings, my shoulders are stiff. I have a partially slouched posture. Do you think my morning pain is angina? When I walk for 30 minutes after wakeup, I have no symptoms at all. My walking speed is 4km/hr.

Please advise for any tests.

Sir....i have a question that if a person encounter angina for the first time (with no records before) taking aspirin as a first aid (at home) then seek to medical treatment is advisable for relief? Hello Doctor, thank you for making this video.

I have warm feeling and feeling like an irritation at my heart, accompanied with migraine.
I went to see the cardiologist, did a blood test and everything seems fine. Except LDL cholesterol. I need to take medicine.

The doctor said that the Soft bone of my chest might be responsible for it.
Can stress also be responsible for it? I might go for a second advice.

I was diagnosed with mild agina and after treatment for 8months went back to the doctor and after taking those xrays he said all wad OK.pliease advice me should I continue with the medication
