A lot of people got upset at me calling myself a "Saberspark knockoff." I appreciate people defending me but just to be clear, no one has actually ever said this nor do I actually think it. Every once in a while I try to find fun ways to shout out other YouTube reviewers and self deprecation is an easy enough joke. This joke went through several takes where I called myself a knockoff of someone including The Mysterious Mr. Enter, Toonrific Tarique and Johnny2Cellos. I landed on Saber because I felt it had been a while since I referenced him.

My Dad ran a roller skating rink on Y2K. Packed house. Nobody skating, waiting for the millennium. A few minutes after midnight, he threw the switch on the main generator. Good times

The closest experience I had to Y2K was the 2012 scare when people panicked about the end of the Mayan calendar and believed it was a sign of the apocalypse

My father in law had extra toilet paper in his attic at the beginning of the pandemic left over from when he bought extra around the 2000 new year. So, I guess it all worked out.

Hank managed to kick open a race track fence designed to keep speeding, crashing cars from getting into the crowds. I'm not surprised he can carry 3 full propane tanks on his own.

Bobby was always ahead of his time, especially with the Toilet Paper

Shady, Y2k was 23 years ago. This past weekend I met a couple who didn't know what Y2k was. They were about 20 years old. Y2k was a long time ago, it just feels like it wasn't.

I really HATE that they burned that stuff. Toilet paper is important. They could have had toilet paper for forever! Or donated it to people who need it. And grandfather clocks are beautiful. They're classic and just as much art as function. Like. If you're spending that much anyway, just keep the stuff. Or give ME the clock! Makes me freaking crazy to see Hank of all people being that flagrantly wasteful.

Shady's actual audience getting mad at his self depreciating joke audience is really wholesome to be honest. Yeah guys, let's stick it to those non-existent haters!

I’m a simple man. Shady does KOTH content and I click on it everytime.

Yeah the guy unable to sell the computer due to the till being down is how it's like at the place I work at, if the sale didn't go through we can't sell things because our system wouldn't understand that the transaction was done manually, thus leading to an inventory nightmare.

Shady being called a Saberspark knockoff, as a huge fan of both channels, is genuinely one of the funniest jokes this channel has ever told. I love it

The cashier scene works even less as a “lol this employee is dumb” when Hank is literally using a credit card. Hank is not paying with cash, meaning that even if this mega store could write a Hank a receipt (which they probably couldn’t anyway) Hank doesn’t have the actual money to buy the computer in the first place, something no one brings up in the scene. This isn’t a general store in a town of 70 people, credit can’t go off of the cash you SAY you can give without proof.

I was so afraid of Y2K. I was at a friend's house for the night and thought at midnight all hell would break loose. A month later I moved to Kentucky and my great grandma gave us a bunch of canned food she had hoarded just in case. The food was hidden all throughout the house, bless her heart.

A somewhat similar situation happened with the PlayStation 3 back in March of 2010, where a coding error caused the original "Fat" models to see 2010 as a leap year, and led to thousands of PS3 owners losing their trophy data until the issue was fixed. Really sucked if you were someone who had to visit friends and relatives to get online and download updates.
