Those hinges are so clean! And I can imagine how heavy that door would be 😂. Excited to see the whole project unfold 👌🏽

Wonderful work! Do you have a video showing how you installed the baseboard? I am
Hoping to install a continuous baseboard from wall to door for a seamless transition

So the video is a couple of years old. So, idk if you'll see this, but my question is, is there a way to make a hidden door with the current door already there? Not building a whole new door. Maybe like a pseudo door in front of, so no matter which way the door opens it just sits In front of it? I guess the door handle would need to be changed to make it flush. can you still add the magnetic things and just close off the handle? Or overall does the door need to be replaced with a new door that makes sense for the project.

Great job though!! I am highly impressed and I already can see this in the new house we are about to move into. Well new to us, its from the 1950's!

speaking of door, how about replacing those 80's kitchen cabinet doors?

love these hinges, but I wish they were half the price haha

So you had to reposition the door so the opening is from the inside. I really like the idea but sounds like a lot of work. I have my garage door in the same spot as well. Need to think about it before starting.

I've seen both videos about this door. Can we see somewhere how the hinge goes along with the added layer of wood in the finished setup? How it does not collide, the geometry of it..

Thank you so much for this video! I have been following it to make a hidden door at my house and it has been a huge help. I do have a question on the bits you used. I realize this video is a few years old but I have seen you respond to some of the comments recently so I'm hoping you might see this one! I bought the template for the hinges, but was wondering if you had a link or could provide a make/model number for the two different bits? I am struggling to find the right ones that are the right depth and have the guides in the right location. Thank you in advance!

How did you figure out where to place the Hinges on the wall. We are trying to do this and don't know how far in to place the Hinges.

Do you happen to still have the file you used to make the templates in your CNC? Would love to use it to make a 3d printed template. I just don't know the dimensions it needs to be. Thanks!!
