I love this recipe, and I'm glad you didn't use egg yolks to make it Yellow. I prefer one drop of Yellow food coloring and whip cream . this is a really great desert

I make mine with cream cheese! 12 ounces (one and a half blocks) cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk (one can), lemon zest (1/2 tsp), juice from three lemons, and 1/4 cup whipping cream (not Cool Whip). Mix with a hand mixer and pour into graham cracker crust. Put in the refrigerator to set, at least four hours. The best!

Honey my Mama Taylor would fix this, it was my favorite pie . I was a child so children don't ask for recipes do they . She died back in the 1970's my mom didn't have this recipe .
