A quick review of using the P20.11 pads on Tektro MD-C550 mechanical disc brakes as compared to the E10.11 resin pads. Tektro's website used to say the P20.11 were metallic pads, now it says semi-metallic. I'm not sure what to make of that, but I do like them better than the E10.11 resin pads.

i guess general knowledge is that resin bites better without warmup, but experiences fade on long descents. Sintered doesnt get as much fade; but wont bite as well in general, especially when they are cool, but last longer.

And now, 5 months later, can you share your impressions again?

Did you noticed any wear to the discs?

What about the longevit of the pads?

My Vitus Cross bike came fitted with the red P20.11 pads on Spyre mech disc... I tried everything you're supposed to do to get these working, setup, bedding in etc but they still felt bad unless I was in the drops with all 4 fingers pulling.. I swapped out for the Shimano B05S resin pads which I was using on an MTB (hyrdraulic setup) these are working better for me..
