I suggest you following tips :

At beginning
Do 10 max pushups at morning, afternoon, evening and before sleep

You can add various variations like :
Diamond pushups
Wide pushups
Kneeling pushups
Archer pushups
Incline pushups
Decline pushups

Do 20 pushups compulsory everyday for 1 week

After a week 101% you will do 30+ pushups

Then try to increase pushups in same way and focus on harder variations of pushups

I have a steel plate in my wrist from an ijury. I was told I would never have dexterity, I proved them wrong. My question I still cant bend my wrist to put my palm doown flat to do a full push up.
Any advice?
