Men in Black is a 1997 science fiction comedy film directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, starring Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith, Linda Fiorentino, Vincent D'Onofrio, Rip Torn and Tony Shalhoub. The film was based on the Men in Black comic book series by Lowell Cunningham, originally published by Marvel Comics. The film featured the creature effects and makeup of Rick Baker. The film was released on July 2, 1997, by Columbia Pictures and grossed over $587 million worldwide against a $90 million budget. It was followed by a 2002 sequel, Men in Black II, inspired an animated series titled Men in Black: The Series, and a second sequel, entitled Men in Black 3, which will be released on May 25, 2012.

I just love how Reggie and Agent K are having a normal conversation while Jay is being smacked against the car in every single direction.

Baby squid is cute, but what I love is how the actor playing Reggie totally nails the “new father meets baby” expression. He honestly looks close to tears of joy and it always gets me.

I still remember in the theater, people were laughing their heads off when Jay was being slammed all over the car.
Then the moment he gets thrown out of the car with the baby alien, they go from laughing to "awww" and of course, the groaned when he puked on Jay. Cute little thing but it's nasty the when it does that.

Joke asides, this scene is weirdly wholesome. It's really alien parents watching in happiness the birth of their newborn alien infant. I feel so happy for that guy who just became a father at that moment.

I loved this scene not just because it's so funny but because it also showed aliens that are not malevolent like Edgar. Just trying to live their lives as best they can in NY.

I love J's little smile and wave he gives the woman. It's like, he knows he doesn't want to do this, doesn't really know what he's doing, but still handles it in a calm and professional manner, like he's dealing with a human woman giving birth! It's little character touches like this that make me love this movie.

Oh my God. The squid made me laugh when it puked on Jay. It went from me smiling at Jay being tossed around the car then to being "awwww. Such a cute little squid" to me laughing at the squid puking.
