Welcome to another amazing episode of TRS! This is an Oppenheimer Special Episode where we break down the reality behind the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer and dive deep into his life as The Father of the Atomic Bomb.

Today on The Ranveer Show, we welcome Abhijit Chavda to put light on Oppenheimer and what led to the creation of the most hyped movie. Abhijit Chavda is a theoretical physicist, historian, geopolitical analyst, writer, and podcaster with a diverse knowledge of various subjects. I have had the fortune of talking to him on multiple podcast episodes that we did on TRS and this is just another one of those epic conversations.

In this episode, Abhijit Chavda dwelled upon topics that are closely connected to the professional life of Oppenheimer. He talked about the Meaning & Birth of Quantum Mechanics, the Birth of the Atom Bomb Project, Nuclear Fission & Nuclear Fusion, Nuclear Winter & much more. He further talked about the Life of J. Robert Oppenheimer when he started working on the Atom Bomb project and how his story led to the creation of the movie ‘Oppenheimer’.

This episode is for everyone who has or hasn’t watched the movie yet. You will get an in-depth understanding of what the movie is about and the core meaning of the story. It was one of the most interesting yet disturbing podcasts for me to record because of the topics we discussed throughout the conversation which you will get to know once you watch the full episode. I hope you enjoy this, tell us your opinion in the comments below!

I think anyone who's remotely interested in history knows who Oppenheimer is even before the movie😂

No man! He didn't translated Bhagwat Gita to English. He just read the English Version He was so fascinated by it that then after he studied Sanskrit and read the Original Bhagwat Gita which is in Sanskrit. BTW he read Meghaduta too.

"Just do your duty and don't worry about consequences" he took that out of context

No, he was not a Sanskrit scholar. He knew Sanskrit. Different things!
He did not translate the Geeta, he read it in original Sanskrit. Again, different things!
I'm not sure he was inspired by "Karmanye Vaadhikaaraste...", he merely quoted Krishna from Chapter 11 to give an analogy for the magnitude of the bomb!

If you went to school, you should've known about Oppenheimer. Doesn't have to be a nuclear scientist to know about him.

Everything he spoke just now is already shown in the Oppenheimer film 🙂

Imagine saying openhimer is a Sanskrit scholar instead of saying he's a physicist

Mostly everyone in the field of science and history will know who Oppenheimer was, I think he was saying about himself. Sometimes the podcast he shows are really illogical in terms of myths and stuff. World works by logic and science if something isn't proven its a myth and it has variants of story. World is already going in a different tangent because of religion and superstition the least we could do is to spread the concept of thinking logically 😊

With others the podcast feels natural, with him it feels like he's reading from script, the way he looks down speaking a lot

I think Ranveer didn't know about Oppenheimer. Any student with basic science knowledge would have heard this name more than once in their academic life

Science students knew him from the Born Oppenheimer Approximation

Why are people getting so hyped about Oppenheimer reading bhagwad geeta? He read it because he liked it, he read it because he knew multiple languages and wanted to test himself. People are commenting as if without geeta he wouldn't have built the bomb

OPPENHEIMER NEVER ACTUALLY REGRETTED FOR THE BOMB- IT WAS THE BAD REPUTATION HE GOT LATER THAT HE SOLELY REGRETTED

Correction
He is more a scientist than a sankrit scholar
