In this lesson, the student will learn the concept of a random variable in statistics. We will then use the idea of a random variable to describe the discrete probability distribution, which is a key idea used to solve statistics problems.

I have watched courses in Coursera, Khan Academy, etc. None of them explained these terms like this Video. Definitely the best teaching style. Teaching is an art. I do not know how some profs are hired at universities just based on publishing papers in Nature. They are never good teachers.

I always come back to you when I'm hitting a wall with math or science. Can't thank you enough for your easy-to-understand lessons. Your style and manner of teaching is excellent for people with anxieties and fears of not understanding challenging subjects. The education system in the U.S. creates a dynamic where if someone is struggling to comprehend a particular material or learn at a slower pace than the average student, they are shamed and stigmatized. That shame and stigma can cause tremendous post traumatic stress and anxiety whenever they attempt to learn the material again. These lessons completely put you at ease and allow for learning without focusing on the stress of "getting it" the first time. Thank you.
