🤓Tech I use to make and record my lessons:

In this example we solve a common pre-calculus trigonometric identity involving the technique of trigonometric multiplicative inverses. In this case (tanx)(cox)=1.

note: this can be used with other multiplicative identities such as (sinx)(cscx)=1 or (secx)(cosx)=1.

This just helped me finish some problems I was stuck in for the past 2 hours.
No longer thinking about quitting life😂

We can take tanx as 1/cotx and then take lcm easiest way

In any cases, how to know by which identity we shall multiply either side. Or, in other words, how to know which identity to use? Thank you

Can you simplify:
1. sint/1-cost + 1-cost/sint
2. sin²∅/cos∅ + cos²∅/cos∅
3. secx sin²x/1 + secx

What if I multiply by the conjugate of the denominator in either of the sides...and I want to know why we multiply by cotx .??

I replaced cotx by 1/tanx and then simplify

Why didn't the cotx cancel like the cotxtanx

I took tan=sin/cos and cot=cos/sin and both sides solves as (cos+sin)/(cos-sin), is this considered a proof?

How do we will get the idea to multiply it by cot x? Like you are goof at maths, but how will a normal student get this idea out of nowhere?
