Go Samson Reinhart go!! He may not play on a Canadian team, but as a Canadian he makes me proud 😊
Not to mention, Bennett, Lorentz Verhaeghe etc…. In the end, Go Edmonton go! I will be watching 🏒from Toronto👍

It feels good to be able to say I’m a huge Paul Maurice fan while knowing I’m not jumping on the bandwagon. I felt sorry for him in his Toronto days because he was a really good young coach but, as always happens in Toronto, he suffered lots of meddling by management and the heat of being under a magnifying glass. His being let go there was the main reason I finally, after fruitless decades, gave up on the no-win situation that was Toronto and switched my allegiance to the wonderful small market franchise of Winnipeg where he resurfaced. He was a class guy in a class organization that promoted family values over straight up making money - polar opposite of Toronto. (eg. Winnipeg banned selling blocks of tickets to scalpers so that average Joes could afford to take their family to a game, Toronto allowed it and put in a proviso that the club had to get a piece of the action). He did an admirable job in Winnipeg where he gained the respect of everyone he dealt with. His players went to the wall for him but he eventually and regretfully decided to leave as he had taken the club as far as he could. He refused to just mail it in and maintained the club needed new blood. Winnipeg didn’t know it at the time but he was right. He got picked up soon after by a lacklustre Panthers club with a very slim chance of making the playoffs and allowed and inspired their character to shine through to such a degree they went all the way to the finals and were one key player injury away from taking it all. Of all the coaches still in the running he is far and away the most deserving of a cup win. It truly couldn’t happen to a better guy.

They should of won game 3 with that domination in 3rd...they would be up 3 to 1 . Odds to win cup after game 4, dallas+150, florida +240, nyr +380...nyr to win cup seems high...

This team is good when they are not diving and pretending to be hurt.
