Nolan Stops an Escape Attempt During a Bomb Threat - The Rookie

Rookie Officer John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) is in a bomb shelter along with an entire courtroom-full of people, when two of the prisoners stage an escape attempt. Nolan and Russo (Sarah Shahi) stop the escape with the help of West (Titus Makin) and Diaz (Angela Lopez), but Wesley (guest star Shawn Ashmore) was injured during the escape. One of the common things I see in private bomb shelters in dramas/movies is they are cut of from the outside world like no radio nor cellphone signal inside. If I'm going to make a bomb shelter I will include in it a wire that connects to the ouside antenna that can connect to radio/tv broadcast or even the internet to know what was happening outside. At the very least a wired wifi extension modem so everyone inside can still use their phones if ever the electricity and communications outside are still working.
