When putting together our 460ci Big Block Ford, we want to keep things as stock as possible, as well as keep our spending low. So we added a few components like a new timing set, camshaft, a gasket set from Summit Racing Equipment, and a new Duralast water pump from AutoZone.

I rock several 460s some simple parts swaps and updates and they wake up pretty good.

Holy Heli-Coil! What did I just witness? You want to make sure you start all your engine fasteners with an impact. That way if you cross-thread it you can just ooga-dooga past it. As long as the torque wrench clicks at 80 lb/ft at the end your good to go.

Hard to keep watching after that impact on a bolt that was just dropped in. Granted it looks like he is just reading from a script or notes.

May want to start those head bolts by hand prior to using a power tool of any kind on them. Especially an impact. That wasn’t very professional.
