I have an external HDD which is showing as stuff is on it thru. the PC. But when I go into it, it shows nothing. How do I recover the items on it. And yet I followed your steps, & it's saying there no Files/Folders on it? I recently used the HDD. Can U help!

It was already on.. I had several folders in my downloads containing different sorted files.. one day they were just gone.. not everything else in downloads, just the folders..
