If Transmission has an excessive amount of metallic debris circulating through it, after rebuild or remedy of the cause, we recommend to either flush cooler in both directions several times by removing the transmission cooler completely or replacing the transmission cooler with a new one. Even if you replace the Transmission Cooler completely we ALSO recommend to flush the Transmission Cooling Lines as shown several times in both directions.

good video i never trust my cleaning of trans coolers so just buy new cooler to be safe when converter of trans lets go in a big way your content got very good details

This is a great idea after a trans rebuild but would you do it after a trans oil fluid change? What flush liquid works best for you. Great vids by the way.

one engine rebuilders channel he said the oil coolers for diesel engines need to be replaced if the engine that was replaced had serious engine damage with lots of metal particles in the engine oil, he reckons the engine oil coolers are impossible to clean out, he said hes seen many recon deisels ruined within a month of installation. ive always cleaned my trans lines etc with heaps of solvent but being a hillbilly using the hose to flush afterwards followed by a few flushes with trans fluid.

Dude! Put a hose or plastic bag on the discharge line! A hose down to a bucket works great!

Easy and effective way to flush tge yrans cooler...

I spray with air first
I then spray with brake cleaner or vacuum pump acetone
I then blow out with air again

Its very effective... My buddy used this specialized foam cans... Over $30 usd

Part 1: yup messy job, you know when you teardown an auto box and there is a thin film of gunk coats everything,
is there a flush or method to get it sqeeky clean, as if you had wiped everything down by hand?

Part 2: is it possible to over magnetise any iron particles? As in small iron particles flowing past magnet get magnetised and eventually cling to the surface inside the box?

Part3: is it true the clutch surfaces are a type of paper?
