As a girl who is going to school to be a therapist and is visually impaired, this is my favorite collab EVER! 😂❤️

Fibromyalgia sufferer here. I appreciate the sentiment and know people mean well when they say disability shouldn't hold you back, but I am home bound 90% of the time. It's honestly hard to be as positive as this when you are literally in pain all the time and treatment isn't working. How can you mourn your health but not acknowledge "can'ts" and limits? What do I focus on when my hobbies aren't even enjoyable or doable due to pain? I hate to be negative but I need to be realistic too...

It's so scary to hear that even in western countries like Canada not all people can get therapy. I'm german, everybody needs to have a health insurance in Germany by law, so everybody can always get therapy without worriyng about any costs. I didn't get along with my parents and tried to kill myself because of it and I might have tried until I succeeded without my psychologist, . Thinking of it, I probably wouldn't have survived living with my parents in a different country...

I definitely think my Autism affects my mental health. Living with a disability is not something that everyone accepts and it's difficult.

I am training to be a counsellor, I have ARSAC Syndrome, I want to give back to people, and it's important to give back .😊

Wow, it really puts things in perspective when you see someone with a major disability that can be so positive about their life. Sometimes I struggle to leave the house because my hair looks shitty, or someone didn't text me back... I wish I could bottle her self-confidence and gusto!

Kati, i love your videos, they've really helped me during a time when I couldn't see a psychologist, but I'm happy to say I have my first appointment this week. She was really impressed by my knowledge of how I was feeling and about CBT, (some advice I took from you was to learn more about my anxiety and depression )

This is amazing, I am not completely blind but my vision is really bad so I struggled with that my entire life.
I have visual processing disorder as well.
I started feeling depressed and having suicidal thoughts at 14 because despite how much Liked school it was and is extremely difficult. Nothing that I did was ever good enough for my family, I was bullied by kids at school too but it was the emotional abuse from my family that got to me.
I just graduated high school but I'm still struggling with depression.
But despite that I'm going to keep moving forward with school and will get into therapy once I'm able to pay for it. Amazing video.

I have been struggling with my mental health due to recent events I went back to self harming and restricting food as a way to cope. I was in therapy but my doctor refuses to refer me for councelling and even if he does the waiting list is so long with the NHS. I struggle a lot with dealing with my disabilities, I have hearing loss, Asperger's Syndrome and a degenerative eye disease causing a loss of vision it's been hard to process all of this and having to accept there's things I can't do anymore or that I need more help than I used to. I'm still a work in progress and hope I can learn to accept myself for who I am. thank you for this video Kati, I love Molly's channel and it's good to know I'm not alone in some of my struggles.
