Pain arc was the best to me thats when Naruto shined episode after episode

5:39 - I really hate it because it shows hypocrisy and double standards, especially Kakashi. Sasuke wanted to have revenge on his brother but nobody supported him, even tried to stop him like Kakashi. He lectured him about revenge is a bad thing and you should get over it. But when it came to Shikamaru and his team who disobeyed Tsunade's order not to go against Hidan and Kakuzu he volunteered to go with them, he didn't even lecture them. So what does it mean? Shikamaru can have his revenge but Sasuke can't?! What the hell?! It's unfair, it's absolutely unfair! Shikamaru's revenge wasn't even justified, Asuma died on the line of duty as a soldier. He wasn't butchered like the Uchiha clan

4:49 - my personal favorite because Sasuke soloed Team 7 with ease. He showed that Naruto's timeskip training was worthless and he has a long way to go. Sasuke was even about to perform fatality on them before Orochimaru stopped him

I think the narrative problems of the chunin exams are rarely mentioned, unlike Sasuke Retrieval, rightly criticized because Tsunade sent genin after Sasuke.

There is no point in holding exams where candidates are randomly pitted against each other without supervision, as talented members risk dying. He also allowed powerful subjects disguised as genin such as Orochimaru and Kabuto to infiltrate. Random preliminary matches were also not a proper way to separate who deserved to advance to the finals.

3:53 - Kakashi vs Obito is still one of if not the best fight ever in Naruto. It was a breath of fresh air after Kaiju sized Power Rangers level fights where brute strength matters this battle was very grounded

Yeah no way the kazekage is the worst arc when the kage summit and war arc exist

12:17 - I like this because of the world building. It's actually dark. I mean watching kids to fight each other to death as an entertainment. It's basically gladiator fights. People are even gambling and using these fights as some kind of arms race to show the military potential of their village to the rest of the world. And don't even get me started on the Forest of death. It's like Naruto's version of Hunger games

when you remove the filler, Naruto kinda fire.

I like the reincarnation and space alien final boss and stuff, but fully understand why people wouldn't. Honestly it became problematic technically since Jiraiya's prophecy.
