I have the same problem. Somebody please help. To many useful data inside and cannot use it.

If it is an external HDD, Pry it open and connect directly to the motherboard cause mine works like that. the problem seems to be the connection between that small External HDD board and USB port . So try it and maybe 99% it'll work and if its the internal HDD, try cleaning it the sata connection of your internal HDD . so if these doesn't help then get to an expert HDD storage specialist :D

Just rn into this issue wt my daughters pc. Original ssd started acting up. Windows would see it then wouldn’t see it. Got a new ssd and got this error. No clue what this issue is. Never saw it in years of building PCs.

Must be a hardware issue, I’ve tried everything with my SSD but couldn’t revive the stupid thing 😢

Have just fixed mine ! It`s nothing but hardware related error. Had to open the adaptor and found that the terminals of the chip were loose hence the error. In your case try to open it and look for loose connections or clean internal terminals. In general try to spot any hardware errors causing the problem.
