Simple to do is change port if external te change usb port if internal like in my case then use another port it will diffinately work.. thanks.

Nice tutorial came across. I am facing a problem with recovering data from my Dell Inspiron 2.5 inch SATA hard drive. When I connect it using an adaptor on another laptop, the drive is not visible... it shows Disk 0 offline, not initialized. Kindly help with your knowledge.

I tried to do it with windows own Disk management, I wasnt sure what to chose so I selected GPT instead of MBR as I read this was the one to chose if I was unsure. But when I tried to do it it said: The request was not fulfilled because of a serious error in device hardware. Does that mean the disk is totally gone and I can't recover the data on it ? I tried with MBR also but same error. Will probably be the same error if I try with minitools program or the one from easus.

Tried many times to “ right click on the corrupted or bad disk” but nothing shows up for right click!

But when i do the right click on the current disc, the small pop up shows up and i can see the options as Rebuild MBR or alighn all partitions etc…
