Analysis: Final AP top 25 ranking poll takeaways reveal best of the rest

With Ed Orgeron's LSU Tigers finishing No. 1 and Dabo Swinney's Clemson Tigers finishing No. 2, it's worth taking a look at just what the rest of the AP Top 25 rankings look like to end the regular season. Lincoln Riley's Oklahoma is sitting pretty for 2020 with Spencer Rattler in the fold. Kirby Smart's Georgia was outstanding. Ryan Day's Ohio State was elite, and Nick Saban's Alabama was fierce.

The polls this year are disgusting. This year’s entire CFP Committee is a DISGRACE to college football and should resign. The anti Alabama bias is so obvious in the final AP poll. Alabama lost by 3 points to Auburn at Auburn and dropped EIGHT places in the CFP & AP polls. Oklahoma lost by 35 (to a team Alabama lost to by 5) on a neutral field and only fell THREE places.

Etienne escaped Louisiana because Les Miles didnt recruit him. So he felt betrayed by LSU and when Ed O took over, he recruited Etienne hard. It was to late though so he ended up at Clemson.

I'll go ahead and spread my top 10.

1: LSU

2: Clemson

3: OSU

4: Oregon (best bowl win in the top 10 besides the national championship)

5: Georgia (beating Baylor is good enough to bring them into the top 5)

6: Oklahoma (Big-12 champions but that embarrassing loss was huge)

7: Florida (solid but the bowl win wasn't good enough for me to rank them over Oklahoma)

8: Penn State (debated on whether or not Alabama should swap places but I think that Memphis was a better team this season than Michigan was)

9: Alabama (reasons stated above)

10: Minnesota (certainly could argue that Wisconsin could be here but I think Minnesota definitely had a huge year and big win over Auburn)

Just my opinion, but this year's top 10, especially top 5 was full of super, super good teams. Some people might disagree with my ranking of Oregon, but I'll keep my stance with them at #4. We'll see where it goes next year.

Clemson got on Etienne his junior year...Dabo flew the jet into Jennings and showed the boy mad love.... LSU didn't even offer him until late in his Senior year smh!

Lsu played depleted ou, bama and teams that had no offenses whatsoever miami definitely the greatest team ever they convincingly did that

The rankings at the end of the year for the following season don't really matter. OU could be ranked number 52 at the end of the season, and then be ranked #1 by the end of the next season. All that really matters is how OU plays next year, and I believe that they are going to ball out.

Although OU lost horrifically it is insane they were dropped below some of those other teams who would’ve probably not even scored 10 points on LSU
