Ole Miss’s problem is Jaxon Dart. The defense is performing well, and while the offensive line is struggling, Dart needs to release the ball faster. He’s not playing the fast-paced offense Ole Miss usually runs. If Ole Miss had scored a touchdown during just one of the five times they were in the red zone, they would have won. The defense could have ended LSU’s last drive before the touchdown that led them into overtime, but ultimately, it falls on Dart.

Ole Miss played good enough to win but didn't. LSU showed a strong game by Nussmeier primarily with great play by the receivers and a resilient defense.
