Im loving the fact we essentially have a slot just for group of 5 teams. Give em a shot

a 16 team playoff would be better in my opinion

8 conference champions + 8 at large

all conference champions are ranked seeds 1-8 and will receive home field advantage. this expands the playing field by not only giving all conferences a fair shot at the title, but giving more title contending teams a spot too

Main complaint is I don't like how the top 4 seeds don't get to host a playoff game for their fans at home. As the top 4 seeds, their fans deserve that experience too.

I’m totally excited for the 12 team playoffs because it’s going to give one of my favorite teams Tennessee and Oklahoma State a chance to advance to the College Football playoff if they have a really good season, even with 2 losses! I’m super excited!!

Round 2 should absolutely get a home. They shouldn’t do neutral site games until the semi finals. It’s such a better atmosphere. Teams should earn having a game at home in the playoffs.

It’s going to be an interesting year for the college football playoffs can’t wait.

Why is everything always in Atlanta? 😂.

Everything is okay until it gets to the part about how the last three rounds of the playoffs are at neutral sites. At the very least, the quarterfinals should be home games as well.

10 conferences. 10 auto-bids. 2 at-large. Fair. Perfect. Period.

As someone who lives in Athens I see this as an absolute win! SEC championship AND national title game a stones throw away.

I feel like I’m Homer Simpson watching Troy McClure explaining a home repair on video.

Whoever wins the natty this year will actually be the first "legit" title in the modern era imo.

Wish the quarterfinals were on campus as well. The atmosphere would’ve been crazy for the top 1-4 seeds to play on their home campus after earning that seed. The fans would love it. I guess the NY6 bowls in the quarterfinals-semifinals will have to do.

Ima be honest this change is too confusing I can't keep up after the first part plus it makes absolutely no sense to me why not have a regular playoff format like the nfl much more simple 😂

I hope with this new format Kentucky can have a year where they clinch the playoffs
