I think I definitely secured the 6 I needed for college and potentially even a 7 if the grade boundaries are lower/2017-19 level

Hi Sir, I'm very stressed out about one of the questions on Edexcel Higher Paper 3.
For the question where it was like there are an amount of factory workers which increases by 6% over the course of three years, were you meant to use compound interest (like I did) to get a decimal and then round down, or were you meant to use simple interest because a lot of people were using simple interest.
I think this was question 4 or something, it was quite early on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Speaking as a yr12 (going into yr13) I’m gonna be real honest, A-level Maths isn’t easy especially the transition from GCSE into A-level. There are a load of topics that you’d need to know from GCSE in order to apply it to certain A-level topics in Maths. If you’re getting grades 7s, 8s or 9s then you could do A-level Maths.
It does get challenging as you get into yr2 content though.
