This paper has been written to help students prepare for Edexcel's GCSE Maths Higher Paper 3. It features topics that frequently appear on paper 3 and considers those that appeared on paper 1/2 already. The paper is original and created entirely by me and not by the exam board.

My method for q20:

1. draw line AE, creating triangle ACE
2. Angle CAE = 90 - 3k and Angle AEC = 90 - 5k (because BAED is rectangle so all corners are 90)
3. ACE = 180 - 12k (because opposite angle in cyclic quadrilateral sum to 180)
4. ACE + CAE + AEC = 180 (angles in a triangle sum to 180)
5. (180 - 12k) + (90 - 3k) + (90 - 5k) = 180
6. 180 - 20k = 0, 180 = 20k, k = 180/20 = 9
7. 9 *12 = 108

its longer but was easier to spot for me

Question 21 with the iterative processes was very helpful for todays paper, there was a question very similar just with a different context and would’ve struggled with it otherwise.
