In a manner of speaking, the ancient Egyptians seemed to incorporate their spiritual beliefs and various sciences-- mathematics, astronomy, geometry, medicine and basic physics, etc to keep their society in balance. No Egyptian ever said, "We can't build a better mousetrap because it offends the gods!" Their curiosity overruled that kind of thinking. A lesson to be learned here.

As a Christian, science is very interesting. It’s really hard to ignore facts of science and how fascinating it is. But, I beg for empiricists to become more pragmatic. As much as science is amazing and interesting, it does offer a lot of dulness on the latter.
