The UK army has 112, 000 including reserves. Many are serving abroad. At 1, 000 a day coming in to the UK, do the maths. Even if we started from today that’s 112 days and our army is outnumbered.

Nigel, away with this net zero target. The solution is to frac petr. oil to natural gas, which then is converted via a steam reaction to synthesis gas and hydrogen which is then catalytic changed to gasoline and diesel free of sulphur and aromatics, compounds unfavourable for climate change. Shell, BP, Mobil and Sasol has such processes.

A good question to ask climate doom-casters is how high do they expect sea levels to reach, if they say one meter this would mean that the landmass of earth would have to have two meters of water stored on every piece of land poking out of the oceans. All the land just think about it the oceans cover two thirds of the earths surface.
