There was a sudden influx of "Turkish" Barber shops in my local town. We had 3 Barbers shops in different parts of the town, who had been operating for years, now we suddenly have 9 Barber shops around the town, 2 on the same short street, the 6 arrivals are all apparently Turkish Barber shops. Also, another we have are Eastern European Turkish type "sweet" shops, which I would normally find in predominantly As.1.an parts of inner Manchester, such as the well known "Curry Mile", etc. As far as I know, we don't have a large As.i.an population in my town, but we now have 3 of these sweet shops operating, they may be legitimate, but also they may be fronts for other illicit business.

It was only a short while ago when I mentioned to my wife about all the barbershops popping up around our town, some of them in prime locations! They are doing haircuts for £7, they would have to do at least 100 haircut every single day of the week just to cover the rent and bills in my opinion..! Something not right!

I've started working for a large company that's very well known. An eighteen year old Libyan has been very vocal in saying he can't wait for the queen to die. Of course, working for a large company you cannot say or do anything about it if you want to keep your job.

There is a salon in my small north east village labelled a Turkish barber, where some of the employees boast how easy it is to get here illegally. They thought it was funny... I didn't. There are two of these salons in the village and of course the car wash.
