That one woman in the car said some of the realest shit you will ever hear. Said she's 1 month from being homeless. 1 bad illness or injury will make that a reality for most people

Blame the politicians. Stop voting the way every time and expecting different results.

I was homeless when i was 15 to 17
And i am now 56 years old . A whole community came together to help me the best they could . My family never cared and never helped me.

Read on the internet as of 06/23/2024 it is illegal to be homeless in 48 out of 50 states it is ILLEGAL to be homelaess. A person can be fined or jailed. No sleeping in your car in public parkinglots and parks. The suggestion given was ask family or friends if you can park your car in their driveway. GOD BLESS AMERICA 🙏

Asking a person who lives in a tent to pay you is ruthless

As someone who used to be homeless... Once you lose everything it's very hard to WANT to go back. Because everything, literally everything, is gone. I wouldn't wish that in my worst enemy

Government: *makes living unaffordable for many people*

Also government: It’s illegal to be homeless

Close the borders and help these people first! If we can’t take care of our own, we sure as hell can’t take care of the rest of the world.

I became homeless when I was 20 after becoming disabled and losing my job. People underestimate how easy it is be become homeless and how hard it is to get out of it. I was EXTREMELY lucky because I was eventually able to get in contact with some family across the country who were willing to come get me and let me live with them. I genuinely don't think I'd still be here if it wasn't for their kindness. To everyone reading this, please try to extend just a little bit of kindness and understanding towards homeless people. You're closer to being in the same spot than you realize.

Drug addiction is a huge part of the problem. Unfortunately, too many people don't want to get clean because they think they're free.

The sad part about this is is you can't get a job without a home address and you can't get a home address without a job
