I am not 100% sure about hotshot yet. I think those are cherry picked by the devs while the ones you generated in Kling and others were ones you generated, and it seems you only generated them once. I think Luma has fallen well behind the others. Kling (does best with AI images I think) and Runway seem best to me personally. This proved true when you ran your own image.

It's beautiful and impressive, it's the kind of realism and consistency that made our jaw drop when seeing Sora for the first time (but since we kind of got used to it), however, with no Image to video, this is a bit useless. you got to direct it somehow, otherwise you'll just end up with all kind of random interpretations.
Another feature I'm Dying to have (in Runway too) is an "image in / image out" where you can show the model what is your starting frame and the end frame, and it will create the in-between

With your tests, I'm starting to see how the sites actually work and are trained. The magic fades while the reality sets it, but now I know what I would need to do to take advantage of what the sites can do with their training. Genmo will let me keep trying different ideas without a throttle, and could literally be used for a clever cartoon short. Kling, is perfect for close up scenes and would work well with a "photos comes to life" fantasy or sci fi concept, but with some creativity could also be made into a short film. Most all the sites can be uses for a consistent "concept". And with some good writing and good directing, could be enough to make an engaging short that hooks, holds, and won't let go of the viewers. And do it on a next to nothing of a budget. Great video as usual.

A lot of this boils down to the AI's ability to rank the importance of the contents of your prompt.
If I add gorgeous black eyeshadow in my prompts, the AI will automatically give me a close-up face shot regardless, and over-ride other parts of a prompt.

I remember when AI struggled with hands (fingers) and I thought: "Well in a couple of years they will fix this" and in a couple of months they already fixed this issue.

Then when AI couln´d make consistent characters I thought the same and the same thing happened. Then it was image to video: and I said: when I will be old (in the distant future) people will make videos from images, and even make their own movies; and within a year they announced AI that could do this!

AI is advancing so fast that we are in the beginning of a great evolution in filmmaking.

I had a couple of goes with it this afternoon. Maybe my prompts were too demanding, but it didn't work well at all for me. I doubt anyone else really wants to see a troop of grizzly bears dancing the cancan at the Moulin Rouge, but it was no more impressive than the aurora borealis flickering above the Great Pyramid of Cheops.

Tried HotShot and was impressed with the result even just with text, prompt was "Porsche 911 on the race track" got it perfectly. Crazy expensive but all AI apps are when launched will use the daily as back up if my gens are low on Kling

I really like the realism of hotshot AI. It seems that your AI video series are getting better and better.. When will we say ok, it can't get any more real .. and it doesn't look like we have to wait too long for that moment.
I have a question for you .. Can I use the face of a real model to generate AI snippets ?
