Man, don't kill her! Wolf spiders are all but totally Harmless and do us a great service by eliminating many of the creepy crawlys that get into our homes and ARE a danger or health risk like cock roaches, brown recluse and black widow spiders and such.
Wolf spiders are scary looking but are very beneficial to humans.
Besides, all she was trying to do is live her life and care for her babies. And you squashed her!
