I cold brew fresh green tea, overnight in the fridge for best results. I think Japanese teas give much more flavor from cold brewing than Chinese green teas, but i haven't tried other types of tea.

Not an expert on composting, but I have chickens. I give them my spent leaves and they love it... I've never seen a chicken lay an egg so fast. I didn't think there was any caffeine left out of my spent tea leaves, but these caffeinated tiny dinosaurs shat the eggs out so fast they hatched more tiny caffeinated dinosaurs on impact!

Just got a nice green tea recently, and am trying a cold brew right now (as in waiting for it to do its thing), but so far i still use a more eu typ of tea brewing, but i use one of those tea egg things on chains, which works perfectly for me to get a truly marvelous tea. the one i have has cactus flower in it aswell according to the package, which i love

How many times can I steep the tea before cold brew isn’t an option? Or can I do my 8-10 steeps and still put the leaves to soak overnight?

I’ve been doing that lately, but even if its just had one steep to wash it, the cold tea the next day never seems like its taken much from the leaves at all. Anybody got any tips or things I should be doing differently?
