Blade Runner Blues Scene

My local art house cinema screens this film every year and the theater always gets packed. I get goosebumps everytime this scene plays.

I don't have the authority to prove it, but my heart feels that this is one of the greatest scenes in the history of cinema, and certainly one of the very greatest in sci-fi. astonishing - it just grows better the more you dwell on it. that balcony view... we are really THERE for a moment. no dialogue, no action. just goosebumps

My apartment has a balcony it's not much of a view but i could see the well lit skyscrapers from a distance, I make sure it's a rainy night before I slip out and listen to some blade runner blues, I feel like deckard glancing below and asking myself what people in the city are doing at this hour as i sip on some bourbon

También es una de mis escenas favoritas de Blade runner. Me encanta la perfecta combinación  que crea la música de fondo con las imágenes; el predominante color azul, la escenografía retrofuturista, los efectos visuales, la hermosa música de Vangelis... ¡Todo!

I can't bare to watch the new Blade Runner 2049 film because I know I'd have too many expectations for it to somehow live up to the original. This film is a majestic masterpiece I've at least watch this classic once a month !
