Cinema 4D QuickTip - Procedural Cheese (Octane)

Показать описание

In this C4D subsurface-scattering quick tip we'll learn how to approach a soft cheese material in Octane. With simple SSS and some surface imperfections, we can easily get a highly realistic cheesy look that's fully procedural. We'll make both Emmental and Cheddar cheese.

This video is based on a lot of the things we covered in the SSS deep dive video so go check it out if you haven't!

I'm still amazed how much knowledge you got.... How long it took than you find a way how to achieve what you exactly want? You're like scientist for me. I imagine you as a guy in a white lab coat surrounded by glass colored flasks. hahha love you dude

Super cool tutorial, that would be fun to try the technique with Redshift. I'll try that!

After the last Octane update (2024), this pack I bought does not work and even causes the whole program to close, can you please find the cause and write it down or fix it and re-release it?

Is it similar to the SSS process used on the skin? I applied it to my skin, and the results are a bit different.
