Awesome that you had an early chance to review it. Kudos to VW for getting it into production. Reminds me of a squished Sienna...

Interesting your first edition had the HUD. From what I've read (and seen in the showroom) it looked like they scrapped that, the hitch, and the heated windscreen from the 1st edition though the top trim will have it. We really want one of these but all the dealers are selling for $10k+ over MSRP and haven't even had the AWD variant come up yet so I think we'll just sit and wait for now.

Does the Canadian version have the heat Pump?

NOT sold out. Those thousands of people on VW lists and deposits have not taken their orders. 4 dealerships around me and each got 5 Buzz's. 4 weeks later, out of those 20 vehicles only 1 has sold. IE they are not selling at all. 2 dealerships are offering discounts of 4k. Rear drive price is 62K. All wheel drive (only one that will sell) is 72K. 234 miles is NOT a travel vehicle which is the point of a family mini van and the history of the Bus since 1949. No Tesla adapter. We just got our adapter for our Mustang Mach-e. Took literally 20 years to finally come out after 4 promises every 5 years when each version was cancelled over and over. I have a 1976 VW Bus camper and I think that will have to suffice since this very cool and fun modern version can't be taken seriously with its short 230 ish range. Several reviewers are getting under 200. Not good.

The drum brakes are for Z &Y gen to remember how far technology has help increase the safety of vehicles.

You take your hands off the steering wheel so often tells me you are not actually driving the car (on atrailer?)

I had every intention of adding one to our fleet as soon as it became available. We decided to pass on it because it was a bit more than we wanted to spend.

You keep comparing this to the '60's Kombi, but totally ignore the version that they had out in the '70's - '90's. In my mind, this is much closer to that version (T3), in looks and performance (and quite possibly quality). Do you or your viewers not know or care about those versions?

Wanna become a hippie? Get a normal new/used van and convert it into Class B camper. This van is pure hype.

Funny car - I'd like to have it with IC engine without BS addon.

It’s way shorter than a Sienna or Odyssey and equivalent to BMW X5, Mercedes GLE so it’s not long.

They should let Tesla put a real battery and make it work in their charging infrastructure. The tech on VW is at least five years behind Tesla. So sad.

Great looking vehicle in and out. That range is pathetic. Hopefully a refresh will get range to over 300 miles. Till then this is a toy.

Drum brakes in $70k EV that weighs 6, 000 lbs? What is VW thinking?😂

As an EV nerd, this is a terrible vehicle. It's just recycled archaic technology. That's to be expected by legacy auto.
