I think you're right about to much power for this kind of car. It's more like a proof of concept. Even the first Buzz with the ID3 201HP motor was fast enough for a bus. But now with the new motor with 280hp it'll really be more then enough to accelerate unexpectedly fast in traffic for others.

I've had a T5 with 130hp manual and it took like 14s to 100km/h ? This is just crazy fast.

We have an ID3 and AWD Ioniq 5 and couldn't be happier. Thanks for your balances reviews

I hope the next-gen LFP batteries find this van quickly. Not interested in NMC anymore. BYD can already have 87kWh of first-gen Blade battery in Seal U. Would like to see it here. Also I have no idea what's so difficult to make camp mode for a car made for camping

I must be getting old
The twin turbo supra had 320bhp
Now a 7 seater vw ev people carrier has more😮

Great review, much better layout for 7 seats than an electric SUV, the price will kill it's appeal, one fir the Jones. Is this a commercial vehicle with all that weight plus passengers.

My ideal would be 4 motion 5 seats 86kwh battery

7:38 I think that's an Ice scraper and I think the other one was a bottle opener

Good to see some windows for the passengers in the back.
The Buzz can become stranded on a loose surface with an incline so this will be helpful.

Surely it can be configured as a camper? Can you get in Ireland?

Sadly the best feature of the ID Buzz - a non-black interior is lost :( I am bored rigid by hot black interiors on almost every car.

Is there a box set of episodes?: Complete Nobby on Cars? something like that?

I heard that VW is going to introduce a 53-ish kWh battery. I'm not convinced it'll come soon enough.
Sure if VW can make a faithful and affordable ID BUZZ like its Type2 sake, they would improve efficiency and overlap the prices with the ID4.
VW should offer a 2+1 front bench and a 3rd row for the Short Wheel Base.

If they can't do that bare minimum then I'm absolutely bored with VW. 7 years since the BUZZ concept and for what? A wealthy family's/boss' statement piece?

Shame you can only get 4WD in the GTX. I live in the country and really want a 4WD, but you’re right it doesn’t need 300+BHP.

Насколько я понял будут варианты с одним и двумя двигателями?

You got the towing capacities wrong.

The GTX is the version that Can pull the most.

The GTX can pull 1800 kg

But no “camping mode” for sleeping inside..?

I dont agree... same way you can challenge any kind of Range Rover or BMW X5M. with more and more EVs on the market sub 10sec 0-60 is fairly normal. And don't forget that this still can be a daily and bring some pleasure from driving. Also.. this 0-60 was measured with only driver on board and no luggage. add, seven people and a trailer and it will be different ;)

This kind of car must offer big battery, long range, comfort and maybe quick charge. You will not do drags with a van. So it's kind of useless to have so many bhp.

Agree with the speed being unnecessary. 4wd with a reduced power and an increase efficiency would be better.

Sportier? Maybe. But, at least to me, this GTX variant loses some of the charm which the original iteration exuded. The pseudo Golf R front bumper--really? And while the interior definitely has a more sporty look, is that what you would buy a Buzz for? It's a bit like seeing your grandmother, who was already cool for her age, show up wearing leathers and sporting a pierced septum. It's just another example of trying too hard and being caught at it.

So what’s more eco friendly than the Buzz? My 2003 Nissan Elgrand which, after all those years, is still going strong, was MUCH cheaper, seats 8, and has much more space than the VW. Would like to see what happened to this Buzz after 21 years!
