WHAT JUNKFOOD can you EAT WITH BRACES?

1. cupcakes are safer but NOT cavity proof, make sure to wait at least 30 minutes before brushing your teeth
2. Marshmallows are soft, same advice as above!
3. Cotton Candy, melts in your mouth, but again, should be limited to once in a while or with a main meal / special occassions
4. cheese its and cheese puffs are ok

Make sure to brush your teeth for at least two minutes!

I had braces for seven years (severe overbite, I looked like bugs bunny). Most times, it’s pretty obvious whether you should eat something with braces. It’s really logical. You have brackets wrapped around and glued to your teeth with a wire running through them. If something is too hard to bite into or is really sticky it’s a bad idea. But worst case scenario if you eat something you shouldn’t and a bracket breaks, your orthodontist will just put it back on.
