This has got to be a tied favorite scene for Vegeta, right beside with his sacrifice. His entire life he refused to back down, to be ordered around by anyone despite their position of power. This moment is the epitome of what defines Vegeta as a character, holding on to what drives him through life. Of course, he becomes softer during DB Super, but that's because he's doing so to protect the ones he loves when he knows he has no chance...just like his sacrifice.

At 0:21 I wanted to cry. I could feel Vegeta's cries of a pain. It shows how mentally tough this guy is. This is probably equivalent to the amount of pain you would feel if someone put a drill in your ear and was slowly moving it down, into your skull. However, Vegeta refused and went through the torment. Sure it was for selfish desires but if you were in Vegeta's shoes, wouldn't you do the same? Actually, if I was Vegeta, I would probably give in and Supreme Kai would be all over the ground. If I could, I would have a picture of Vegeta next to the word "Pride" in the English Dictionary.
