The thing I love about the Majin form is that it didn't just release Vegeta's rage, it released all of his emotions. Wearing them on his skin like a sweater, Vegeta finally let out everything he had pent up: Rage, jealousy, sorrow, regret, and most of all love.

To me, this is probably one of the most important moments, if not THE most important, to Vegeta's character. Here, Vegeta has to face what he been trying to deny for years-That he had come to value things other than conquest and power. Allowing Babidi to release his evil was just another step in that denial, a way to convince himself that he could toss those attatchments away.

But it was a lie. In the end, his humanity prevailed.

As Goku put it in the old dub, Vegeta had to convince HIMSELF that he no longer cared about his family-something he ultimately could NEVER do.

This is just sad, Vegeta was finally starting to be at peace with himself but he started to feel like it was wrong. Because of everything he went through he felt that it was not the right thing for him to do.

When you realize Vegeta is having a midlife Crisis. He used to be young, badass, and kill populations of planets for a living. Now he's just living the regular life of a father and husband on Earth.
