Growing up, Russell was a talented high school baller.

But he was nothing like his best friend Khelcey Barrs.

As a 6’6 sophomore Khelcey averaged 18 points 11 rebounds and 3 blocks per game.

Scouts came from all over to see Khelsey taking over varsity basketball.

So the two friends crafted a plan.

Train, get a scholarship to UCLA together then hopefully make it to the league.

But one day after practice Khelcey collapsed on the court.
