My mom was on hospice and just passed today and before she died I kept reading bible verses and telling her to trust in the Lord, it was painful but I know now she is not suffering anymore. Thank you, Jesus

I had a near death experience and outside of my body was a sensation of extreme ecstasy. I was weightless., painless, conscious, comfortable and vision like a Hawk.. It was more real than the present. I learned that Energy cannot be destroyed it’s converted. It felt like that was real and this is all a dream. Can’t believe God loved me enough to show me. He loves everyone

Death of true believers in Christ ushers them into eternity with God, where there will no longer be pain nor sorrow. There is nothing to fear when in Christ, even death. This world is fallen and full of evil. No evil will enter heaven; that's a holy, perfect, and joy-filled place.

My mother passed away yesterday. She was on hospice care like others in this thread. I had tried to prepare myself but it still hurts. I have lost all my friends from death or people moving away. I have one blessed daughter. Thank God. My husband had major surgery the day before My mother passes. What a nightmare. My daughter is stressed taking care of us. We are desperately in need of Gods presence, healing power and sustaining.

I had a NDE at 25 years old. I had my first grand mal seizure and it lasted almost 8 minutes and I stopped breathing most of that time turned completely blue until paramedics got to me. I was atheist but after what I saw during that time, I now know there is a god. Thank God for letting me come back home but at the same time I was happier than I had ever been during the time I was gone.

God made everything. He is not bound by our time and space. I say that when we take our last breath, we immediately take our next breath in the presence of the Lord. What do I mean? Well we are body-soul persons. Why do we need to imagine a intermediate state for a soul that exists without a body? Our entire persons are upheld and sustained by God. Since we are imagining, wouldn't it be simpler to say that even though in the timeline of the world, our body may turn to dust. Yet on that great Day of the Lord, we will rise together to be with Him forever. From the person who is "sleeping" perspective, his eyes blink closed in this life, and then opens in the next moment to a resurrected, glorified body, risen to meet our Savior, Jesus Christ!

To be absent from the body is to be present in Christ.

The Bible say Paul would “RATHER” be absent from the body and present with the Lord.

In order to live a Godly life, you must have the mind of God, be in the world but not of it, let go of anger, don’t believe your thoughts or live in your imagination, forgive, and do not worry about anything. Our life on earth should be uncertain but our faith in eternal life with Jesus should be certain.

Actually the verse reads :
“6. So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are home in the body, we are away from the Lord,
7. For we walk by faith, not by sight.
8. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and home with the Lord.”
