fun fact, the golem replied "You created me in fear that someone should take your crown. But now I teach your scribes, curry favor with your people, tend to your fields, and advise your sages. Why would I need your crown? I already rule the kingdom."

Rational animations videos are great and getting better. Somewhat surprising to me that they aren't much more popular yet.

You should react to these kurzgesagt videos:
- Super Artificial Intelligence.
- Time travel.
- What is life? -What are you? (Two parts like fermi paradox, react to both these videos in a single one)

At least you don’t pause the video a lot

Rational Animations and their videos just seem to get better and better! (as one typically does) I certainly noticed the improvement in animation, including cool different art styles. And also great music, sound design and voice acting! What an awesome bunch of human artists! *_...Or are they secretly a super advanced AI posing as Humans and trying to teach us how to properly handle our own AIs?_*

0:57 Honestly, I took one look at the title and thumbnail and went "This is about AI again, isn't it?" I mean, Golems ARE traditionally artificial creatures, so them being a fantasy stand in for AI is totally reasonable.
2:12 Paradoxically, you could also argue that the Wise Scholars may have made mistakes THEMELVES in checking the textbook, so maybe they missed some more errors are called out errors that were actually fine. That's what happens when you can't truly trust anyone!
2:49 I love the little details like these, such as the Mother disapproving the Old Beggar and pulling her daughter away from him so she doesn't get "corrupted" (whatever that means)
4:30 It's that he believes that in a group, humans are predictable. Especially when it comes to economic stuff. You sell things, they buy things. You raise the price, they buy less of the stuff. You label your price "$4.99" instead of "$5" and you quadruple your sales. Each individual person may be their own special little snowflake. But they're all snowflakes nonetheless, cold, made of water, and eventually fall to the ground.
4:51 Well, they did say he had everything he wanted except trust. I suppose he also has that Megamind type brain... If only we could have more leaders like him... (with the trusting part of course)
5:47 *He's doing that Anime Nerd Guy pose! **_He's too powerful to be left alive!_*
7:37 The Golem's Armour was made of Copper I guess. So it eventually oxidized from orange-ish brown to greenish-blue. Once again, the little details and easter eggs are awesome!
10:29 Me too pal, me too. But I guess it makes sense that this is where the story ends, since as an allegory for AI, this is kinda where we are too. We've just gotten AI and even at it's most inferior quality and (relatively) frivolous uses has already practically set the world on fire with how much chaos it has brought to various industries and people's lives. Who knows what will happen as it gets better and can work in more important tasks like medicine, education... *politics...* Now we must ask ourselves the same question, "Can we trust AI? And how can we always be certain it has our best interests at heart?" This among many other existential questions probably keep many AI experts awake at night...

As always, AI proves to be a massive headache for everyone involved. Just like time travel! But unlike it, it seems much closer to becoming a reality than we might expect... The interesting thing about this video is that as some commenters have mentioned, there's actually MORE morals you could take from this, beyond just the ones about AI! Not only could you see this as a story about whether or not you can truly trust an entity that while technically yours, has become much more powerful and smarter than you ever could be. It could also be a story about the meaning of trust itself! The King sets out on this journey because of his need to find something truly and 100% trustworthy. But ultimately, Trust is more subjective than it is objective. You could be doing everything right with no problems at all and that can still not be enough to gain someone's trust. If anything, it can be even MORE suspicious... Betrayal never comes from your enemies after all...
Another interesting take I've seen on AI has come from the Indie Game "Will You Snail?" which is a Rage-Inducing Platformer, but the story it tells is really interesting to think about when it comes to AI. I'd certainly suggest looking into it, and if you can't play the game yourself or watch someone else play it, there's always videos that just show the story bits!

I suggest you also the video proposed at the end, The alien message. It is another AI story

The video ended before the king decided to give his crown to the golem or not, it was an intentional cliffhanger because that part is intended the viewer to answer by it's own. Would the king make the good choise if he gives the golem all his power? Should we give controll to AI?

7:34 the reason the golem is blue is because it’s made out of copper, so it just oxidised that’s why it is blue
