Most Golem-related media I’ve known would make the Golem a creature made out of stone instead of clay.
The only ones I know that made the Golem out of clay is the original Golem silent film and Kamen Rider Saber where they made a Golem monster made of clay but with a stone face.

Just think about that for a second, how humanity’s primal fears of creating something that they could never have permanent control over has existed in ancient times, that says a lot about humanity.

Just FYI, Prague was one of few cities which actually welcomed Jewish people and were positive towards the cultural and economic properties of their culture. They more or less lived together harmoniously. You can still visit the Jewish quarter and cemetery in a neighbourhood of Prague called “Josefov”, which is still a rather rich area, both moneterally and culturally. There are many famous Czech Jews, for example Franz Kafka, and Sigmund Freud, many will say he was Austrian, but that is because he was born and grew up in a town in Moravia, (part of Czechoslovakia) but in his time it was part of the Austrohungarian Empire. He came from a town called Pribor, which means singular for “cutlery.” Many Czech (Bohemian, Moravian, and Silesian) have been mislabeled as Austrian, because they were part of the Austrohungarian Empire. I hope historians will be more thorough and clear going forward. It’s as if you called Indian scientists “British” because at the time they were incorporated into the British Empire. They aren’t the same thing.

Hi Jewish person here! Golem 99% wasnt from Prague but from Polish city Chełm. We dont have any another story about Czech golems but a lot of about golems in Commonwealth for example Vilnius, Drohiczyn or in Podole. Rabin Maharal from this story is historical character from Poznań Jehuda Loew ben Becalel!
