Nice work Jayanth. I love the theory of constructed emotions and I try to teach kids about it, albeit in an overly simplified way. Thank you for getting the word out about how it is impossible to read other peoples emotions.

Quote:

Analogy of the brain as a Christmas tree:

"Different sections of light glow under various circumstances."

Main take-away:

Emotions are diverse; one emotion can be interpreted in myriad ways. Emotions are much more nuanced then we believe an act them to be.

I am grateful for this talk, and Jayanth for having presented it :)
