Unveiled at Eurobike, and now in the Cotswolds, here's a first look at the brand new Winspace SLC 3.0, the Chinese brands lightweight climbing bike. Before I hit the road let me give you a tour of the main details and reveal how light it is and what they've changed over the previous model.

This video is not sponsored by Winspace, they had no editorial input and no money passed hands. When I've finished reviewing the bike it'll be posted back to Winspace.

I have an slc 2.0 which I just bought back in may-2024. I wish I held off for the v3 but the v2 it's my first road bike after a long time I can say the bike feels very nice. Improvements to stiffness is welcomed. I think the lower rear seat stays and BB is plenty stiff enough but the upper parts like top tube and upper rear seat stays does flex. It may have to do with compliance. I can definitely feel flex in the fork or maybe the front rims which results in disc brake rub when pushing out in a sprint. Overall I love what theyve done with the v3. The only I don't like is the price tag. Which is way up from what I bought my v2 for. Although arguably compared to everything else. It's still modestly priced

I have a G2 Winspace for the past 2 years with SRAM AXS. It has the Lun Gravel 700c wheels. I just rode the Seattle to Portland in one day 2 weeks ago. Fantastic bike. Light, fast, super comfortable, and very utilitarian. 700x44 Rene Herse tires @ 26 PSI. I’m Very impressed with Winspace. I did make it with hidden housing. Looks nice.

One comment on the one you are trying. Isn’t even lighter than the Tarmac SL8 & the other one since yours has Ultegra & they had Dura-Ace? WOW

Great reviews Arthur! Enjoy watching! :)

I was surprised to see the weight come out so low. My SLC3.0 in size 480 (small / x-small?) with a mix of Ultegra (groupset), GRX (shifters) and Rotor (cranks) with Elite 1300g wheels and 28mm Contis is 7.1kg with dura ace pedals. "Superlight Black" frame with hardware was 760g and the fork with uncut steerer was 419g. What did your frame and fork weigh in at?

May I ask what music that is in the end? It's a like a modern interpretation of some of Morricone's spaghetti western pieces.

Cheap at $2000 via buying direct from China, no local as in Europe back. £1.29 to the Dollar = £1550 plus import duties So about the same price as Giant TCR? . Re blanked off axle threads. How do repair or re tap a damaged thread????

Been getting more and more Chinese products for my bikes, only thing is not quite there yet imo is the gear systems. Can’t beat the value and performance from China

Repairing stripped or damaged threads in the dropouts would be a nightmare.

WINSPACE & Carbotech Actually Make Frames For the Most Expensive Brands.

The Reason WINSPACE Charge £1500 for the frame is because it doesn't matter if you buy it or not.

They produce 60, 000 Frames per year for other bike brand Manufacturers, they simply dont need public sales.

it's still not very cheap at all here in Thailand, as they charge the same price in every country: An average salary in Switzerland could buy a frame a week no problem; in Thailand it will take me a year to save up. All prices creeping up, and cycling is for the relatively ultra rich here. A greatbpity, and reflectioin of short-sighted, grabbing brands everywhere in this capitalist world. Not sure what? Chairman Mao would say! Strava the only company I know who have listened, and their subscription mirrors average salaries. Rant over, and back to my 2016 Caad12 that is feeling the years!
