Tube type GP5000s + TPU tubes is the best combination ever, combine with 32mm is just win win, fast, reliable, comfortable. I have got maybe 50 000km rode on that combo without missing a beat :).

so cost effectiveness order in my mind: tubes, tires, 1by (remove FD get narrow wide chain ring), aliexpress saddle, crank, wheels, bars. although i have had poor experiences with TPU tubes.

You don’t need bottle cages. Hydration is overrated. Also get rid of pedals. You can just push the bike around for fitness. Cheers

DIY built custom speedplay Ti pedals weigh about 140g. I went with SRAM Red QUARQ powermeter crankset as I actually make use of 2x for hills.
3d printed handlebar ends weigh about 0.5g
Carbonworks cages weigh about 6.9g + Ti bolts weigh about .6g each. 14 + 2.4 = 16.4g all in on cages.

FYI, I've been switching wheelsets between my 2 12 speed shimano and sram bikes without removing cassette and they are 100% compatible with zero issues shifting after thousands of KM trials. SRAM cassettes are much lighter than Shimanos.

While the carbon-ti rotors look cool. Galfer rotors are much cheaper, similar in price to shimano but they are also even lighter than the carbon-ti. If you live somewhere really steep i found myself warping the shimano rotors likely due to the aluminum sandwich construction and im just under 70kg so not a heavy rider.

Cybrei is reported to be getting ready to release a 24mm ti axle (shimano diameter) version of the crank. the weight should be similar at the expense of stiffness vs. the 29mm axle. Your cassette is definitely something i want to switch to at some point. my SL8 is 6.9 KG (with pedals, cages, computer mount and varia mount) but would like to get it down to 6.6. I have ultegra crank and cassette so those should do it. i'd love it if Cybrei or Elilee could offer a left side only power meter option!

Cybrei have a 24mm Titanium spindle
On the way in September this is what they told me.
I still have purchase the DUB Cybrei crank with Bikone BB same camp at that supply team UAE/Pogacar and the Meta Cybrei carbon rings.
Think this will save 200g over my DA crank and also save some weight on my Hambini BB. Although the Hambini BB is the sh!t imo.
