During the GENIUS SUMMIT 2019, doctor 👨⚕️Daniel IANNI-FILHO delivered a conference on "How precision improves biomechanics and efficiency in orthodontics ?".
➡️Considering that all orthodontic movement is governed by biomechanics, this presentation presents the concepts defined by Burstone in the Technique of the Segmented archwire and that can be used to increase the efficiency, improving quality and simplify treatments in Straight Wire technique. The importance and support by the precision of the bracket slots in the efficiency and effectiveness of mass retraction mechanics especially in the treatment of open bites will also be demonstrated biomechanically.
