Prices of new gpu's in my country: $310 for 1660super, $420 for 5600xt, $450 for 2060 6GB regular, $470 for 5700, $500 for 5700xt and $600 for 2070 (regular, not super). For me it was between 1660s and waiting to see if Ampere/Navi2x would lower any prices... I doubt it, but it's only a few months and my gtx950 2Gb still runs surprisingly well (Played Fallen Order on medium 1080p lol)

Anything from Pascal is probably still going to be good and maybe a few of the Maxwell cards like 960, 970, and the vanilla 980. Anything older than that, and I wouldn't bother. The power consumption for the performance that you get would not be worth it. With the 970, you have to be sure to adjust your settings to make sure that the game doesn't use any memory outside of the first 3.5 gb just to be sure you won't trigger the slow memory issue. Even with that caveat, the 970 still outperforms the 4gb 960 and isn't terribly slow when compared to the 980.

An often overlooked option for the low power segment, is the RX 550 640 shader processor version. It will walk over the GT 1030 while carrying 4gb of memory. It uses 50W vs the GT 1030's 30W, but it will still work with computers with weak power supplies where most people will tell you to just buy a GT 1030.
