eh same desc as last vid not much has changed and im still lazy. just talking about the captain/capitano and his odd fate, a bit about ronova and the pyro archon mavuika. just talking more about the fake sky in natlans ending, what it means for teyvat, what those rocks were and a bit about the moon sisters and hexenzirkel. well well well 5.1 has graced us with its presence and holy. banger story patch. from the heavenly principles lore, to the shade of death, to mavuika and xilonens fore shadowed death, the captain khaenriah connection, dainsleif actually being mentioned in the archon quests, i mean brothers and sisters its all coming to a head. the biggest reveal obviously being the fake sky which inadvertently gave us hexenzirkel lore i mean dubs all around this patch. good on natlan for beating the abyss war ig idk. act 3 was kinda whatever, but act 4 made up for it. lots of lore and lots of theories to discuss in the future my friends.

The weight of Khaenri'ahns’ souls theory.

When Capitano was injured during the fight with the Pyro Archon, Ororon had a faint feeling that a soul was trying to escape. This was confirmed by Capitano when he asked Ororon if he heard something coming from his wound.

A soul indeed escaped from Capitano’s body. It was Guthred, who tried to take over Ororon’s body. The Lord of the Night said that the soul who tried to take refuge in Ororon’s missing pieces was not from Natlan and its origin is a mystery to her.

The reason as to why The Captain seeks knowledge about the Wayob and the Night Kingdom may have something to do with the Khaenri'ahns’ souls that he carries with him in his body. It is the weight of justice that he bears along with him. He may be looking for a place, or a way to give them a proper resting place.

And his final foe may be Ronova, the Ruler of Death herself. She laid him and the rest of Khaenri'ah the curse of immortality, and The Captain is ready to put an end to the curse.

And i also have a theory on how he collected those Khaenrian's souls. He said that after the Cataclysm, he fled to Natlan and finally meet Ayizu from the Master of the Night-Wind. I think he learned some spells from Ayizu to collect souls into him.

The reason it is possible is that he used a spell from the Master of the Night-Wind to send back the escaped souls back into the Leyline. So he collected the Khaenrian's souls into him since he is immortal, he can't die. And find a proper resting place for them.

I’m thinking if this Captain will not be playable. However, given the motif of death and resurrection Nathan has; I think it is very possible the captain could be “reborn” and have a different in game model where he looks like he did 500 years ago and can live the rest of his life how he should AND BE PLAYABLE. If he has a deal with Ronova. The night kingdom and ley lines can be preserved and in the process of his “death” he is “reborn” without the spirits weighing him down. It would be a win-win situation. The Fatui do not make deals where they lose.

Well I hate to admit it, but this is the most plausible theory so far, but still, the outcome I'm hoping for (and coping a bit) is that Capitano will be resurrected one way or another, because to be honest, losing the first of the Fatui Harbingers this early, even before Snezhnaya, is hard to believe, and also knowing his connection to the traveler's sibling that could expand in the future when we eventually reunite with them in the final chapter, I think there's enough reason to keep Capitano in the main story, more than Signora for example (though I still think she'll come back in some form)

Considering that his constellation is suppose to be the nails it does represent this. The nail in real life represent Jesus where he was nailed onto the cross an sacrificed but was then resurrected. So if that’s the case captaino could sacrfice himself but he most likely will be resurrected.

2:38 It's weird how he falls to the ground and acts as if he's gonna have a mental breakdown only to react with "I feel dizzy"

i like Capitano as well

and i’d kill to main him, but my guy’s been alive for 500 years and is protecting Natlan

i think if the chance comes he’d sacrifice himself

Bro locked in, had a serious tone and dropped the single hardest theory I’ve ever heard 💀 I can absolutely see The Captain receiving the souls of his subordinates to increase his strength to fight in Khaenr’iah, or as a punishment.

Honestly, I feel like they are setting the traveler up to unlock a power up here saving everyone. Get a whole flashback of not being able to beat arlecchino, needing more power and then finally unlocks more of their old power and fire traveler saving both capitano, flame archon, Nathan and xilonen. Would be literally the perfect time.

Isn't it fascinating that Dain and Capitano are seemingly experiencing the Khanrian curse oppositely? Dain looks fine but his mind is deteriorating, while Capitano seems mentally OK but his body is rotting. It's a unique parallel for sure.

Its a very likely possibility that he might sacrifice himself, But im sure even hoyo knows the amount of people that are going to be against it, i dont think hoyo would be willing to take that risk. signoras death was needed since she WAS evil. but capitano seems good enough to atleast have a chance to live.

In all honesty the story is pointing towards Traveler to be the one to save mavuika even citlali theorizes this that only with powers of a descender could mavuuka break the rule

what I really wonder is if the heavenly principles are gonna do anything about the sky, if they don’t then what kinda deep sleep are they in?

I took Capitano's question to Ororon about him dying to Mavuika was more of a hypothetical. Ororon doesn't know about his immortality, so Capitano was likely asking from Ororon's perspective regarding why he saved him rather than stating that he would have died.
