Carl Froch is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2002 to 2014, and has since worked as a boxing analyst and commentator. He held multiple super-middleweight world championships, including the WBC title twice between 2008 and 2011, and the IBF title from 2012 to 2015, and the WBA title between 2013 and 2015.
Carl Froch has had issues with a number of people recently due to his outspoken views on his YouTube channel Froch on Fighting. He's continuously mocked John Fury and pointed out Tyson Furys inconsistent behaviour and weak boxing record. he's even had a back and fourth with Anthony Joshua, with both men exchanging abusive WhatsApp messages.
Tyson Fury suffered a split-decision points defeat on a dramatic night in Saudi Arabia as Oleksandr Usyk became boxing's first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion. On a grand stage and on a legacy-defining night, Briton Fury began well but was given a standing count and saved by the bell after an Usyk onslaught in the ninth round.
In a tense wait for the scorecards to be read out, Fury appeared convinced of victory before a stony-faced Usyk broke down in tears when he was confirmed as the winner. The scorecards read 115-112 and 114-113 for the Ukrainian, with a third judge scoring it 114-113 to Fury.
It meant Fury, 35, lost for the first time in a 16-year professional career. He will get an immediate opportunity for revenge with a rematch planned for later this year.

In 2020, with his defeat of Deontay Wilder, Fury became the third heavyweight, after Floyd Patterson and Muhammad Ali, to hold The Ring magazine title twice, and was widely considered by media outlets to be the lineal heavyweight champion. In 2021, his trilogy fight against Wilder was named Fight of the Year by The Ring.
John Fury has been involved in a few controversial incidents in the past, including challenging Jake Paul to a fight ringside and flipping over a table during the press conference for Tommy Fury vs KSI. John Fury even challenged Carl Froch to a boxing match at Wembley and has had numerous disputes with Tony Bellew.
The long-awaited fight will see the unbeaten rivals face each other for the first time as well as an undisputed champion crowned for the first time since 1999. The fight was originally scheduled for February, but had to be pushed back after Fury suffered a "freak" cut on his face. However, despite the gravity of the event, Fury said he was unbothered by the pressure and described it as "just another day in the office". Having already achieved his childhood ambition of becoming heavyweight champion of the world, Fury said he had been "riding the wave of that" ever since.
In the paid ranks, Usyk won his first cruiserweight world title in just his 10th professional bout, before travelling to fellow champions’ backyards and cleaning up the division within five fights. If he beats Tyson, he can go down as one of the greatest fighters ever. Usyk transitioned from the world’s best cruiserweight to a unified heavyweight champion who dethroned Anthony Joshua in 2022, before winning the rematch just months after defending his country against the Russian invasion.
