There are five mysteries to meditate on Eucharistic devotion. 1. the wedding feast at Cana (Jesus changes water 💦 into wine 🍷(John2:1-12) 2. multiplication of loaves and fishes (John 6:1-15). 3. the teaching on the bread of life (John 6:22-71). 4. the last supper (John 14:1-1726). 5. the road to Emmaus (John 24:13-35). When Jesus says that He is the bread, and the bread is the flesh, this is a spiritual truth, it is not merely to mean that this is lowered down to a worldly secular literal understanding. The disciples took Jesus literally because they never heard anyone say that before. But we must focus on what Jesus means instead of how someone else thought it was in that moment. Jesus is talking about that accepting His sacrifice, the gift of salvation, is eternal life, that He is the way to eternal life, that He is the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. It’s not about literally taking bread as His flesh and the wine literally as His blood. This is merely a communion, an ushering of welcome or introducing the truth to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This is a thanksgiving to God through a physical symbolic feast of bread and wine in small amount

I love Jesus as a prophet of God. Message of all prophets is same, , worship creator alone, , do good be away from bad deeds, , there is life after death good ones are awarded in heaven.

I corinthians 11:18-34, Also if isnt clear, let's remember the reaction from the jews within these verses from john 6:
52. (...) "How can this man give us (his) flesh to eat?"
60. "(...)This saying is hard; who can accept it?"
Jesus would explain any parable to His apostles, but He was insistant, to the point of saying to them:
61. (...) "Does this shock you? 62. What if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?


He is God, He said He is the bread of life, He want to give His grace directly, but we need to be clean, repentent.
Make too much sense after you reflect on the first letter to corinthians 11:18-34 a second time... why this respect towards a bread, said to be Body?
